Hornstrandir 2012

 X-Country skiing tours in the spring.

 In the last few years Hornstrandir nature reserve has become inceasingly popular for hiking and camping, especially in the summer. Now, Kagrafell ehf will offer x-country skiing tours to Hesteyri in the spring. By doing that we are following the footsteps of the men who have gone on at least one ski trip a year to the Hornstrandir area for the last 35 years.  Hesteyri has been chosen as a destination as it‘s easy to access and has housing available, as well as other conditions.  You need to bring with you good hiking shoes, as well as your skiing equipment and outdoors clothing.
